WCIAC Keynote Exhibition at The Montana Museum of Art and Culture, featuring the work of Elizabeth Kronfield and Matthew Wicker, exhibition opens from 5-7 pm Thursday May 6th.

 

National Iron, 5-7 p.m., Friday May 7th,
Artists’ Reception: Beer Garden and music by Joan Zen, May 7th, 5-8 p.m.
Jurors talk:  David Lobdell and Stephen Glueckert, May 7th, 7 p.m.
National Iron is a juried national exhibition at the Missoula Art Museum, and is in conjunction with the Western Cast Iron Art Conference.  Exhibiting a diverse national collection of artwork made in the medium of cast iron, the event coincides with the Missoula First Friday gallery walk and the 2nd night of the Western Cast Iron Art Conference!

 

WCIAC Student Exhibition at the Tsunami Gallery. an open, student only exhibition with opening from 8-10 pm Friday May 7th.  See Student Call for details. 

 

WCIAA, exhibition of new works by WCIAA steering committee members.  Opening 9-11 pm Friday May 7th.  Downtown Missoula, site information in registration packets at conference.

The WCIAC Student Exhibition will be held at:
Tsunami Gallery
, 101 South Higgins Ave.
Missoula, Mt 59802

All student participants of the conference are invited to present no more than two pieces for this exhibition. Works must be ready to install upon delivery. 
Installation works are welcomed however the student must be present for the hanging of the work, and making contact prior to exhibition is recommended. To contact the exhibition coordinator to discuss your installation needs:

-Artwork may be hand delivered to the gallery Monday 3rd through Thursday 6th 2010, between 10 a.m.-noon.

-Artwork can be picked up on Sunday 8th, between 10 a.m. – noon. 
The gallery will not ship any of the work. Abandoned work will become property of the University of Montana’s School of Art.
